I’m an Italian artist dedicated to intricate details, making me a hyper-realistic artist.
I make my art by mixing charcoal and graphite to obtain those nice and dark values from the charcoal and the tiny, extremely delicate details only a graphite pencil can create.
I’m completely self-taught, but I’ve been drawing for such a long time and with so much passion that you can consider me an expert.
In all these years, I’ve practiced and experimented with different materials and techniques, constantly pushing my limits and improving.
I made many mistakes and learned a great deal from them, so now I want to help you and teach you all the things I’ve learned, saving you the trouble of making those mistakes.
I’ve been sharing my knowledge for a while now and I’ve learned a lot about teaching as well so I’ve created this in-depth step-by-step course with the same passion and dedication that drives me to create my portraits, putting myself in the shoes of a beginner artist, trying to answer all the questions he/she might have.

The course has 8 modules for 11 hours of learning and practicing. It also includes full-length artwork tutorials! You can pause and replay the videos as much as you want. This course is your complete guide to creating stunning, realistic portraits with charcoal and graphite. Designed for beginners and intermediate artists, it covers everything you need to know. It would be best to take the course in order, because it will start from the basics to lessons at a more advanced level.

First things first
You’ll learn about the essential materials, how to use them, and how to set up a proper studio environment. This ensures you have everything you need to succeed right from the start.
Module 2
Sketch, Background and hair
You'll create an accurate sketch, draw the background, and start working on the left side of the hair with layers and details.
Module 3
The eyes
You'll learn to create realistic eyes with layers and details, working on each eye separately.
Module 4
The forehead & Nose
You'll work on base layers and details for the forehead and nose.
Module 5
Skin texture of the cheeks
You'll build the skin texture on the cheeks, with base layers and added details.
Module 6
Lips and chin
You'll draw the skin around the lips, then work on layers and details for the lips and chin.
Module 7
Neck and hair pt 2
You'll paint the neck with base layers and details, then work on layers and details for the right side of the hair.
Module 8
Final steps
Beyond drawing, you’ll learn how to light your artwork for better visibility, photograph it professionally, and preserve it for the future.
